Our
chicken is pasture raised on any one of our rotationally grazed fields. As soon
as they are old enough, our chicks are placed into field pens (Salatin-style)
and put to pasture. We use NO growth hormones or antibiotics on our animals.
From
birth to processing, we take responsibility for every step of our broilers'
lives. Our chickens are moved daily to ensure fresh greens and bugs in their
diets. They are never fed hormones or antibiotics. The taste and nutritional
value of our birds is absolutely wonderful.
Our Cornish –
Cross chickens come from a Texas Hatchery, supplemented with a non-soy, non-gmo feed produced in Texas, and
processed on the farm. Leaving a lighter
carbon foot print, and truly making your food local. Go Texas!
Our
chickens are sold whole. Processed and
placed in a vacuum sealed bag. Come by
the farm the day of processing to get your reserved birds fresh, all other
reserved birds will be frozen.
We
invite our clients and friends to visit us by appointment on our farm to see
how their food is raised.
